Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support our procurement and supply chain management efforts. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations. Depending on performance, there is a chance to be hired for a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors. Procurement Processes: Support the procurement team in preparing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, and managing procurement documentation. Inventory Management: Help monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards. Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities. Supplier Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Support Project Teams: Provide support to project teams in sourcing materials and equipment for various projects. Training and Workshops: Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops on procurement best practices. Qualifications: Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interest in procurement and supply chain management. Basic knowledge of procurement processes and methodologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Personal Attributes: Ethical and responsible. Proactive and eager to learn. Strong organizational skills.
