Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Socio-Economic Intern to support our socioeconomic assessment and community engagement eDorts. This internship oDers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in socio-economic impact analysis and contribute to meaningful environmental projects. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection: Assist in collecting socio-economic data through surveys, interviews, and field visits. Data Analysis: Support the analysis of socio-economic data to identify trends and impacts. Community Engagement: Participate in community meetings and stakeholder consultations to gather input and address concerns. Report Preparation: Help prepare reports on socio-economic assessments and impact mitigation strategies. Research: Conduct research on socio-economic conditions and policies relevant to the projects. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of socio-economic data and activities. Support Project Teams: Provide support to project teams in implementing socio-economic impact mitigation measures. Training and Workshops: Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops for community members and project teams. Monitoring and Evaluation: Help monitor and evaluate the eDectiveness of socio-economic impact mitigation measures. Qualifications: Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Social Sciences, Economics, or demographic studies, or a related field. Strong interest in socio-economic assessment and community engagement. Basic knowledge of socio-economic assessment methodologies and tools. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
