Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Officer Intern (Compliance) to support our compliance monitoring and environmental management eDorts. This internship oDers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental compliance, monitoring, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection: Assist in collecting environmental compliance data through field surveys, sampling, and monitoring activities. Compliance Monitoring: Help monitor compliance with environmental regulations and standards on our client’s operations. Environmental Audits: Participate in conducting environmental audits and inspections to identify compliance issues. Report Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed reports on compliance activities and audit findings. Research: Conduct research on environmental regulations, policies, and best practices. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance data and activities. Support Project Teams: Provide support to project teams in implementing compliance measures and corrective actions. Training and Workshops: Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops on environmental compliance and best practices. Incident Management: Help investigate environmental incidents and non-compliance issues, and assist in developing corrective action plans. Qualifications: Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Strong interest in environmental compliance and monitoring. Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance methodologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship. Personal Attributes: Ethical and responsible. Proactive and eager to learn.
